Just another reason Texas is the best...
Well folks, we've once again shown the world why Texas is the greatest state in the Union. You're probably asking yourself what did we do now? Did we raise the largest pig in the world? Did we win a sporting event? Did we cut crime? All of these things might have happened, but I wouldn't know. What did happen is we showed the country we know right from wrong. We know leadership from from poll chasing. We recognize the importance of the upcoming election. Yep, you guessed it. Mike Huckabee is leading the polls in our great state!!! As you see in the graph below, Huck has made a tremendous push and is now in front by quite a bit. Now if we can only get the word out to all the other states. I encourage you to contact any friends and family you have in states outside of Texas and tell them about Gov. Huckabee. Unfortunately, because we have our stuff so well put together our fine state doesn't always have the same impact on Presidential Elections as smaller states. But here is the good news. There is more of us than there are of them, so let's use our numbers to pass the message to others. Let me here from you... For more details on the graph below, click this link:

Get off the Fence!!
Chuck says it as well as I could. Don't just follow someone else and vote for who the liberal media wants you to. I believe if you check out Gov. Huckabee and his vision for our country you won't find another candidate who comes close. Watch the clip and please visit this link to contribute to his campaign.

FIRST PLACE IN IOWA!!!!!!
Huckabee is now in first place in Iowa polls according to Rasmussen Reports. The campaign also reached it's fundrasing goal again. Get behind the surge....
Bryant Stumble
This past Thursday night, the NFL rolled out one of the premier games of the season. The game featured two 10-1 teams, the first time that has happened in league history. Add to that those two teams are two of the most storied teams in the league with a historic rivalry that dates back 40yrs. The NFL does almost everything with class and precision. It is the league that all others wish they could be. So you can imagine my surprise when I learned the league had chosen to roll out Bryant Stumble as it's play-by-play for the presentation. The NFL Network which as you may know is in a bitter dispute with the big cable companies made a joke of itself Thursday evening. Bryant is the worst broadcaster since Pat Summerall was calling games way past his prime. Here are a few things we learned:
- Tony Romo also goes by Rick
- The Cowboys go by the nickname "The Pack"
- Kevin Garnett plays on defense for the Cowboys in between Celtics games
- Marion Barber is the heart and soul of the Packers offense
- Although the offense passes the yellow 1st down line by three yards, we can be sure it's really a first down. It might just be an apparition
These are just a few that I remember and I haven't even gotten to the rest of the game presentation which was equally terrible. How is it possible that the NFL would allow such a poor broadcaster to do it's games? It can't be a money issue. They have time to inspect sideline clothing of every coach and player, but didn't take time to have Bryant do an audition tape? Seriously, if the NFL Network really wants to pick up more games, they have to do a better job. Bryant, do us all a favor and retire. PLEASE!!!

True Leadership
Take a look at the latest ad for Gov. Huckabee which is airing in Iowa this morning. I think the message is a very important one. Our country is in need of leadership. Probably now more than any previous time in our history. Webster has three definitions for the verb, "lead"
1. to go before or with to show the way; conduct or escort
2. to conduct by holding and guiding
3. to influence or induce
To me these definitions are exactly opposite of the leadership we most often see coming from Washington today and even other candidates in the race. Most seek poll numbers and align thier convictions appropriatly in hopes of getting enough votes. What I love most about Mike Huckabee is he has a foundation. That foundation is not flexible to the whims of poll numbers. It is solidly grounded. It is grounded in his faith in God, which is the only true rock. People often ask me, why my politics has to be influenced by my faith. I ask them, if I truly have faith, could it be any other way? We need a true leader who will guide our country. Someone who will go before and show the way. That person is Mike Huckabee. Check out the video and go to his website to learn more...

What's happened to the underdog?
As you've seen in previous posts and the link to the right of this post, I support Gov. Mike Huckabee in his bid to win the Presidency. The attacks are starting to fly all around from other campaigns. As in other areas of life, we must "count it all joy" because the attacks mean the message is gaining ground. Huckabee is not perfect. The same is true for all of us and all candidates in the race. But, he is a real leader, a real Christian, and will do the most for our country. The latest attacks seem to center around the fact that Huckabee doesn't have the money to go up against Hillary and win. First, let me just be clear. If Hillary is elected by the DNC, all Republicans should find their closest Democratic friend, slap them for being lost :), then give them a big kiss for electing the un-electable. Hillary will galvanize the Republican party and independents faster than Ronald Reagan ever could hope to. With that said, I don't get the philosophy of not supporting someone because they are the underdog. In every area of life, the underdog is revered. Think about it. Hollywood even knows that the underdog is a big seller. Why do I find people saying, "well he can't win, so I'm not going to support him" I challenge anyone who reads this to stand up for what you believe in. Don't allow the hype to sway you or we will continue the cycle. If we stand firm in this election I believe Mike Huckabee could have a tremendous impact in changing the course of our country. Any just think of the irony when Hollywood has to release the Huckabee story about an underdog from Arkansas who changed history because a few solid men and women weren't afraid to swim up stream for him!! PS. See the link below on why all the hype isn't true.

Destiny Stepped In
I want to applogize up front for grammer, spelling , etc.. I'm still on a high that is preventing me from thinking straight. Last night the sports world witnessed what I believe is one of the most amazing football games ever. For me it's in line with the Houston Oilers blowing a 35-3 lead against the same Bills organization, who eneded up on the opposite end of fate last night. This will go down in history as one of the all-time most remembered games. It's in line with the the Colorado vs. Mizzou 5th down game, the "Catch" game against the 49yrs, or any other crazy unexpected out-of-your-mind never could believe it sporting event you've ever witnessed. From the Cowboys perspective there were so many things wrong with that game.
Of course you can't not talk about Romo's game. He was terrible. If it could go wrong it did. High passes, short passes, wrong side of the reciever passes. It was the Seattle bobbled hold on steroids. His game alone should have been all the Bills needed to put the Cowboys away in the first half. On top of that you had Marion Barber III who was somewhat off. Did you notice how he struggled to find a hold. He's been the spark to the running game all year and it was Jones who was the leading rusher. While the defense was the lone bright spot to the game, our secondary did get caught looking a few times and struggled to stop some second class recievers. Finally, the special teams allowed a lot of return yards and of course a touchdown. It was pretty bad on all fronts. The Boys' had no business winning that game.
That is when destiny stepped in and said Cowboys, you are better than this. You will not lose. This team for some reason has magic. For the last few weeks Romo has been granted to title of Jedi by many Dallas radio peronalities. To me this game solidifies than nomicure more than any of the previous 4 games he's played this year. Only a Jedi could overcome himself and do just enough to defeat the enemy. This is a magical season and we are witnessing a team of Destiny. Write it down right now. The Cowboys will be the NFC Champs and in the SuperBowl come January. On Sunday we will learn whether they will win...
